What is mats of love?

Mats of Love is a ministry that repurposes plastic bags into sleeping mats for the homeless population of Philadelphia. It's one of the ways we want to show the love of Jesus to others. To learn more about the history of this ministry, click below to read an article on issuu.com.

WANT TO HELP MAKE A MAT?

There are two ways you can help: make "plarn" balls or crochet a mat. "Plarn" is plastic yarn made from recycled grocery bags. This is the building block for a mat. Crocheting a mat is a little more challenging. But, the end result is very satisfying! Below are two YouTube videos that will help you get started.
