Middle &High School Students
Youth group meets on Friday nights, September through May, from 7:30-9:00 pm in the Gym (the large building behind the church). A typical Friday night includes games, snacks and teaching from the Bible. Get to know our youth leaders, Cody, Grant and Michaela.
Our goal for students is that they may know and follow Christ: growing up in him and live out their faith in today's world. Youth group is a place where all are welcome and encouraged to get involved in lessons and games to develop new friendships, experience community and fellowship on a Christian level.
We also have special events regularly. To learn more about these events please subscribe to our monthly newsletter below.
From 9:30-10:15am middle and high school students study different books of the Bible with our youth leaders. This study helps them take a better look at their personal identity in Christ. We have take home study notes for students who attend and if you would like a copy but are not in class please email us and we will get you a copy for your personal study.
Seneca High Adventure Christian Camp (SHACC) is located in the Allegheny Mountains of West Virginia in the beautiful Monongahela National Forest. For one week each summer our youth group is challenged to step away from the internet and spend it with the Lord in his creation. SHACC has an great campsite with real beds in cabins, quality bathrooms, and the best camp food you've ever eaten! Students will not only enjoy outdoor activities such as rock climbing, caving and canoeing but also have the opportunity to learn from each other and their leaders about the Lord. Hope to see you there this summer!
The dates are July 5 - 10, 2020; early registration discount deadline is 1/31/20. You can sign up by clicking on this link: https://fccbrookhaven.breezechms.com/form/f25b42.
Wild Week is our Middle School outreach that occurs for one week every summer right before school starts. Each night we meet behind the church outside to play different field games, water games, or even glow in the dark games. Teams then compete against each other to see who will win Wild Week. Throughout the week we learn a little bit about the Bible as well as eat some great food from the snack shop. Most students will say their favorite part of Wild Week is the crazy shaving cream war that we have every year at the end of the week! Come out next year to help your team win!
