Service Opportunities

We grow by serving. Here are ways you can serve at Faith Community Church and in our community.

Serving Our Community

Through Faith Community Network

The Network meets the 1st and 3rd Sundays of the month at 1:00 pm in the Community Center located on the campus of Faith Community Church.  We provide supplemental food to each member through a "Client Choice" model of food distribution. Members are regularly encouraged to discover and share skills and assets to strengthen the Network community and empower each other.

Through the Brookhaven Soccer Camp and the

Br5Khaven Fun Run

In 2019, we launched Brookhaven Soccer, a skills camp for boys and girls aged 5-13. We had 60 kids learning soccer skills for 2 hours each night for one week in July. It was a blast. We are hosting it again in July 2020.

Hope you'll join us!

In April of 2019, we hosted the first annual Br5Khaven Fun Run. We had over 175 runners/walkers and over 80 volunteers staffing the race!

Serving Our Children

Through services and groups designed specifically for children.

All of our volunteers have gone through training and certification to be able to work with the youth of the church. If you would like to help in this area, please read the following training manuals and fill out the paperwork attached. Then turn it into the office, Linda or one of our Youth leaders. (Volunteers must have regularly attended FCC for at least 3 months.)

We require all of our volunteers to do the following 4 steps in order to be cleared to work with our children.

Step 1: Fill out a Safety Application

Step 2: Perform all three Background Checks

PA State Police Criminal Record (free)

PA Child Abuse History Clearance (free)

FBI Fingerprint  or Volunteer Affidavit

(If you've lived in PA for more than 10 years.)

Step 3: Read and Sign FCC's Children's Ministry

Policy & Procedure Manual (This is for birth through 5th grade.)

Read and Sign FCC's Youth Ministry

Policy & Procedure Manual (This is for Middle & High School Volunteers.)

Step 4: Read and Sign the FCC Code of Conduct
