Our Leadership

Faith Community Church places a high value on Godly wisdom.  Each year our church membership looks to appoint those individuals who thoroughly qualify for the position of Elder as described in 1 Timothy 3:1-7 and Titus 1:5-9.

Our current team of elders meet at least once a month to pray, discuss, and plan for God's ministry through Faith Community Church.  These men serve and report monthly in a concentrated area of ministry relating to one of the following five purposes of the church: worship, evangelism, service, education, and fellowship.  They also assist the pastors in providing care to the church by following up on Shepherd Assignments.

Our Deacon team is extremely important to the life of the church. This team consists of between 5 and 12 men and women meeting the qualifications of 1 Timothy 3:8-13.  They strive to involve the entire congregation in fulfillment of its tasks as appropriate.  You will find our deacon team leading on tasks such as church property maintenance, looking after the kitchen, pantry and supplies, supervising benevolent needs, set up and take down for events, organizing blood drives, open up and close up on Sundays, and administrators of special events---they are a busy bunch!  Yet they don't do this alone.  The church body is to come alongside and help our deacon team serve and minister.
