Meet Our Staff

Richard Ferris, our Pastor/Teacher, is enthusiastic about following Christ. Richard encourages others to experience God's power for themselves by trusting Jesus in everyday ways. In his spare time you'll most likely find him gardening, reading, playing with his dog "Bo," or at the gym. Richard is married to Fredda with three daughters: Michaela, Abby, and Kit. He is a graduate of Drexel University, Capital Bible Seminary, and received his doctorate in ministry from Dallas Theological Seminary.

Jim Skulski became our worship leader in the summer of 2014. Jim has been leading worship and has served in pastoral roles in various churches in Pennsylvania and North Carolina for many years. A Brookhaven native, Jim has been married to his wife Ann since 1976 and they have four grown children and two grandsons. Jim has a deep love for the community and operates his family’s electrical business right here in his home town. Providing an environment for people to have an encounter with the living God is his top priority.

Tyler Rodkey is our part-time youth director. He has degrees from Williamson Free School of Mechanical Trade (Assoc. Construction Technology) and Cairn University, formerly Philadelphia Biblical University (B.S. Biblical Studies), and is continuing at Cairn for his M.Div. in pastoral ministries. In his spare time he and his wife, Kim, take road trips with their ducks, read, dance, and enjoy life.

Linda Skaer joined FCC staff as our part time Children's Ministry Coordinator in August 2014. She loves seeing children learn more about God and His word as well as partnering with parents as they train their children to walk in obedience. She is married to Kevin, her high school sweetheart, and they have four children Cody, Zachary, Tyler and Alyssa. Her favorite way to spend free time is reading and watching sports with her family.

Jill Hurley joined FCC staff as our Office Manager in August 2016. Jill is a Texas native. She graduated from Eastern New Mexico University with a B.S. in  both (Cultural) Anthropology and in Religion. She is currently pursuing a Master of Arts in Theological and Cultural Anthropology from Eastern University. Jill loves reading, going to historical sites and museums, plays and any other type of cultural experiences.
